Earlier this part of the year, VLCC bought over Dietary Supplements Major, Wellscience Health, promoted by Lajinder Bawa. Mr. Bawa is the CEO of the Indian Arm of Swedish Cosmetics Maker-Oriflame.

Vanity Cube is one of the early entrants in On-Demand Beauty Service operating in Delhi NCR and Mumbai. Its clientele touches close to 50,000 in both these cities with around 60% repeat order within 45 days of first service. Vanity Cube had raised funds from Unicorn Ventures, friends and family. This fund was invested on Expansion, Technology and Brand Building Initiatives.

The market of Organized On-Demand Beauty Service gained substantial momentum with numerous start-ups and large players investing in buyouts of these startups. The market value roughly estimates upto Rs.15,000 crore and is massively fuelled by Middle-Class as well as Affluent crowd. Currently operating with 330 Wellness Centers across 102 destinations, VLCC aspires to expand On-Demand Beauty Service to 10 cities in next 18months.
